No matter where you are, our remote programs offer engaging opportunities to work on bioengineering projects that build social connection, teach real research skills, and inspire ongoing interest in STEM.
Unique instruction in synthetic biology for virtual, in-person, and hybrid classroom models
Our Idea Accelerator is a dynamic science and engineering curriculum and experiential learning series for high school students. Teams of students design new biotechnologies to make the world a better place, paving the way for additional engagement with Bio-Builder’s laboratory and training programs.
An opportunity for high school inventors to combine engineering and science to design, build, and test their own ideas
Our Bio-Builders Club increases student access to authentic tools and approaches for engineering biology. Within biodesign teams, budding scientists develop meaningful projects that address real-world challenges. Students explore ideas in partnership with practicing mentor scientists, and present their work at our international “Final Assembly” conference.
Students, faculty, and industry leaders discuss their day-to-day work as bioengineers and the academic paths they pursued
Interviews touch on the pivotal moments, key teachers and mentors, and the life-changing experiences that led to fulfilling work.
